Pusa Pratibha
Pusa Pratibha is a premium mango variety developed in 2011 by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. It is a hybrid derived from a cross between Amrapali Mango and Sensation Mango.
This variety is known for its regular bearing habit and high productivity. The fruits are medium-sized with an attractive shape, featuring a bright red peel that makes them highly appealing in the market. The pulp is deep orange in color, fibreless, and has a pleasant, rich flavor.
One of the key advantages of Pusa Pratibha is its good shelf life. After ripening, the fruits can be stored at room temperature for about 7 to 8 days without significant loss of quality, making it suitable for both domestic consumption and market distribution.
